Doc. Gjergj Boçari

Author and co-author of articles for scientific journals, Dr. Gjergj Boçari is present in many professional activities in Albania and abroad. Since 2005 he has been a member of the International Academy of Implant Prosthesis (IAIO) in Rome and since 2006 part of the National Association of Albanian Dentists (ANDSH) in Tirana.
In 2008 he graduated in Stomatological Orthopedics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tirana and in 2010 he attended the post-graduate doctorate on “Evaluation of retentive elements in the preparation of skeletal prostheses”
TRAINING AND ACTIVITIES
His professional training includes several European and non-European countries and covers different fields of medicine, taking him to Spain in 2005 for a course on implant prosthetics, and in Bulgaria two years later for a course on supply logistics with medicines and in the same year in Moscow for a training course on marketing and pharmaceutical management.
In 2012 he was a rapporteur at the 17th Balkan Congress of Stomatology in Tirana. Two years later, in 2014, he was in Italy, in Turin, for an immediate-loading guided implantology training course. In the same year he was a new rapporteur, participating in the 19th Balkan Congress of Stomatology in Belgrade and then in Ohride, Macedonia, for the 1st Inter-Albanian Conference of Stomatology.Even in 2014 he was a rapporteur at the 20th National Stomatology Conference in Tirana.
From September 2007 to July 2009 he is an external lecturer at the chair of Stomatological Orthopedics in the Department of Stomatology of the Faculty of Medicine of Tirana, for the theoretical seminars and for the clinical and laboratory practices of Removable Prosthetics.
From August 2013 he is a full-time doctor and lecturer at the Prosthetics department of the University Stomatology Clinic of Tirana. Here he is responsible for the educational process of stomatology students and outpatients of the Orthopedics department. He is also an external lecturer at the Chair of Prosthetics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and responsible for conducting seminars and practices of removable and fixed prosthetics.
